What Data We Receive
The plugin and scanner communicate with our servers only for:
- License Validation: Your license key and domain URL are sent to verify your license status.
- Update Checks: The plugin checks our server for available updates.
- Scanner Activation: When you first connect a scanner to your site, we record the domain URL and activation timestamp. This is used solely for subscription management and refund eligibility verification.
No customer data, ticket information, sales data, or scanned ticket details are ever transmitted to Upkyk.

When customers make payments, their payment information is processed directly by these providers. Upkyk does not store or have access to credit card numbers or bank details.
